Method 1 - Find your Steam ID using Internet Explorer

Just click the following link HERE, choose Open, Run, and it will find your Steam ID for you. The script is completely safe to run, see FAQ below for details.

Method 2 - Find your Steam ID using Mozilla Firefox, Opera & others

You can download then run the script yourself. In Firefox, Right-click on this link HERE, Save As, then when you see the Downloads completion box, click Open, then OK. It will then display your Steam ID. Others browsers work the same way, just save it to your Desktop and double-click it. The script is completely safe to run, see FAQ below for details. You can delete the script afterwards.

Method 3 - Find your Steam ID using All Browsers / Manual

You can manually find your own Steam ID by running Steam, connecting to any game server, then hit your tilde "~" key to pull down the game console. Next, type "status" and hit Enter, your Steam ID is the number next to your nickname, for example STEAM_0:1:23456789

FAQ

• Does the script contain viruses, adware or spyware? Absolutely not! It only finds and displays your Steam ID, nothing else. In fact you can save the script to your desktop and open it in Notepad, you'll see that all it does is fetch and display your Steam ID to you. It does not send me or anyone else any of your Steam account info. It is merely a Windows script that runs locally on your computer. Not convinced? Test the site in McAfee SiteAdvisor, Dr.Web CureIT, Google Safe Browsing Diagnostics, Online Link Scan or scan the script at VirusTotal (all links open in a new window).
• Why does ClamAV report the script as JS.Sirun? It is a false-positive, ClamAV has been notified and we are awaiting the results to clear cleared the false positive, but they haven't updated VirusTotal's virus signature file in a long while.
• How do I know the script is legitimate and hasn't been replaced with a hacked version? You can confirm it by comparing it against the following published hash and checksum values: MD5:d70ad1c5226312ee5ea152f3f65fa842, SHA1:e3313957aa9264d577a3549cb1e118c3696d85b9, CRC32:3e6e61b4
• Okay why does it say "Unknown Publisher" and "The publisher could not be verified"? It means I didn't shell out money to Microsoft to buy a Digital Signature. The cost is prohibitive, and if you don't trust the simple little script, please use Method 3.
• What does the error "Invalid root in registry key" mean? It means that either you don't have Steam installed or for some odd reason the script can't find your Steam folder.
• It returned a Steam ID, but it's not mine, why? The script merely grabs the first Steam ID it finds in your log, if you have a roommate or someone else uses the same computer, it could grab their Steam ID.  In that case, use Method 3.
• What information do you collect from me? I collect nothing. My web host stats program knows general stats on how many visitors come to this page, what browser they are using, etc. Your Steam ID is not recorded or stored in any way shape or form, I have no idea who you are or what your Steam ID is, nor do I care to know.
• Why did you make this site? If you're signing up for a league or clan and need your Steam ID, why wait for minutes for your game to launch?
